⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯

Thursday 12th February:

19.20 VIIVI ROIHA(FI/FR)/

-“V” is a performance dealing with the decision to break away from what was before. It is a personal diary blurred with visions, showing moments of one moving onwards, and backwards, on the path of change.

Viivi Roiha cuts the rope : it’s like cutting ties with the past (leaving behind a homeland, a loved one, a family, a trauma, a past self). The path that follows becomes an open road where she takes the audience with her to those familiar places of excess, darkness, falls and fights where every decision is madness. In « V » the rope is a metaphor of things that need to be dealt with before being able to let go and move forward.

The show takes place on an empty stage where Viivi’s raw and sensitive physical performance is combined with the captivating live music of Mika Pusse.

20:45 MISS FISH AND CARLA FROM STØRUP(DK)/ (UN)THINK MY HOUSE

(UN)THINK THE HOUSE is a performance about identity and origin, traces and forgetfulness. It investigates the fragile appearances and narratives we create, develop and question every day, to become who we are. (UN)THINK THE HOUSE is a mutual dreamscape of two characters in search of lasting structures to protect themselves. Houses can represent lasting structures and stability. Places that develop collective identities and a physical reality shared with others. Houses can also represent dominance, territory, capital and control, creating tension between completion and a desire for new discoveries. Thus the performance moves in the borderland between the unspoken and the definable, the fragile and the safe, the collective and the individual.

21.15 ANDRO MANZONI AND EMILIE LARGIER(HR/FR)/ 0111000_

0111000_ is a new multimedia performance installation exploring intimacy co-created by

multidisciplinary artists Andro Manzoni (HR) and Emilie Largier (FR).

22.00 LOLA(UK/DK)/ masking

‘Masking, a self-centred story’ is a performance done by me of me about me while I wear my face as a mask. Self-centred. I invite you into me and me alone. I am a little bit lying though it’s not just me, I am accompanied by Ture Lewin on the drums, Helena Spirling and Ronja Liv Hestad.  This is a performance about my experience of being stuck in my head, I can’t get out. I bring my in to the out and I do a little prance in the limbo between the internal and the external. The inspirations are many but mostly they are the masks I wear in my everyday life. Sometimes I wear a tough mask because I am tough so you shouldn’t fuck with me (I’m wearing it now 😉 I think you get it. I have some tramu , some delusion ,some self-awareness, a hand full of masks and a will to heal through physical stage art!

23.00 THEA CARLA SCHØTT(DK)/ easter bunny

On which day of Easter did the Easter Bunny resurrect? The egg came before the chicken, but my oh my what about the sausage? Does a male homo sapient get his wings every time a sausage resurrects? These are the questions we battle our minds with on a daily basis in this god forsaken society. This piece faces the biggest controversy of our existence head on and suggest that Easter lasts until Christmas and not the other way around!

Friday 13th February:

19.30 LA VISPERA(ES)/fragments

A woman’s body is at play, surprising, distorting, and endlessly reproducing itself. At the center of a larger scene, a pole, the backbone on which everything rests, supports and breaks down a being on the edge of humanity, between its own limits and infinity.

Faces hidden beneath each other, a thousand personalities are created and undone, loved and hated. Fragments of self that each one can recognize on stage.

Using circus as a tool that blurs the boundaries of everyday bodily movement, along with an exploration of puppet-prostheses and

masks, we explore the deformation and disintegration of the corporeal and the mental, approached with a sharp and ironic acting

style.

20.30 ANDRO MANZONI AND EMILIE LARGIER(HR/FR)/ 0111000_

0111000_ is a new multimedia performance installation exploring intimacy co-created by

multidisciplinary artists Andro Manzoni (HR) and Emilie Largier (FR).

21.30 MONSTRA(AR)/ mala

To hack folklore.
To distort rhythm.

To throw our prejudices about tradition into a rectangular ring — a battlefield and a space for reconciliation.

MALA is a punk gaze on Argentine folklore, a dark journey of sounds, words, and dance; of distorted traditions, broken bodies, and reinvented animals.
A duo, a performative concert, a queer and feminist cry about how malambo — this traditional dance once reserved for men — mutates and moves us.
To be part of the transformation of our traditions, our dances, our heritage.

22.45 METTE LOULOU VON KOHL(US)/ there are no words, so may it be the end

Centering queer sensuality, pleasure, and fantasy, There are no words, so may it be the end satirically comments on the “counter-terror” industry of Zionist state. The performance interrogates how the success of the industry is dependent on the constructed identity of the Zionist State as existing in a perpetual state of defense and moral exception. There are no words, so may it be the end is a multivocal, multimedia solo performance proposing Palestinian refusal to be seen and unseen as a glitch that destabilizes settler colonial projects and identities.

Saturday 14th February:

19:30 FILIP VEST AND KAI MERKE(DK)/ ruinerne

Ruinerne (“The Ruins”) is a musical inspired performance by Filip Vest and Kai Merke using live action roleplay and song to evoke new worlds in the ruins of the existing one. In the story we meet a group of creatures living in their own alternative society, where they’re trying to repair the violence written into their bodies, develop a new language and renegotiate utopias of the past.

The performance is currently under development and for the festival we will show a work-in-progress version of the project.

20:30  MARINA CHERRY(US)/ only bones

Lanky loidlings.

Squishy Schloompings.

Spiky Spa-doo-dlings.

Marina Cherry squeaks, zooms, and tiptoes through a micro-space. Fragmenting pieces of a personaluniverse spill over the stage for her solo performance, Only Bones v1.6.

Intriguingly engulfing, sporadically disturbing, this quirky conglomeration is a look into the many inner worlds of the human- a follow-up project to the original Only Bones (v.1.0) created by Thomas Monckton. In a balance between theatrical and physical, Marina plays with the limits, researching innovation amongst extreme constraints. Using only one light, it’s a maximization of the minimal.

22.00 THEA CARLA SCHØTT(DK)/ dirty dancing demon

In the world of show business, surrounded by effortlessly beautiful bodies, perfect opinions, and endless career optimism, it isn’t easy being a rockstar demon in disguise hustling for the next gig. This piece celebrates the Beautiful Beast within us — the one who yaps till dawn, takes smoking breaks during pilates, sleeps in a full face of makeup, buys skrabeæg, and prefers the smell of whiskey to baby heads. She couldn’t care less what Betina and Carol think. She struts through life with her head held high — like the supermodel she truly is. The Rockstar.

22:15 FERNANDA ALEMAN(AR)/ concert

The show is an analogue live set that crafts introspective and poetic atmospheres, where hypnotic rhythms, analogue synthesizers, guitar, loops, and evocative vocals intertwine to evoke a deep sense of meditation and contemplation.
